What is your "why"? What drives you to do this important work each day?
The students make me want to come every day. I love my job!
What do you enjoy most about your role?
I get to share my creativity and bring out the creativity in my students. I enjoy showcasing African culture for the students of African ancestry to see themselves reflected and for the school communities to see and appreciate African Nova Scotian culture.
What would you most like families to know about the role of Student Support Workers in HRCE schools?
I would like families to know that I am here to support their children every day and I love what I do to support my students.
