Dear Grade 4 violin families at SCES,

I hope you are all doing well and continuing to adjust to the new routine. 

For as long as we remain in online/at home learning mode this will be the St. Catherine's schedule.  The reason why I am keeping "after school" hours is to steer clear of the many schedules I have in my circuit and to avoid conflicts with music, french, phys-ed and general classroom in online and independent work blocks. I hope this works for you. 

I will be posting weekly assignments, practice homework and lessons in the respective violin google classrooms your child can work through at their convenience.  If you can have your child keep playing the violin at home it will help keep them gaining skill, keep what they've learned in their memories (mental and muscle) and keep them motivated in continuing with the instrument.  If you are finding they are struggling with interest or feeling lost: I am holding office hours to see these students.  Office hours are open for all students.  If the demand is there I will open up more office hour time.  If students would feel more comfortable and feel having a semi-private lesson with a friend would be fun that can be arranged as well.
