Bussing-Update about Unassigned Seats for 2021-22 School Year 

Before June 30, HRCE will reach out to families who have unassigned seats to remind them to apply for an unassigned seat in mid-July when submissions open. As we plan bus routes for the fall, we are first required to provide bus routes to students eligible for transportation. As soon as school registration settles in September, we are able to determine unassigned seats and make them available to families who may benefit from them.
More information on submissions for unassigned seats for 2021-22 will be posted on our website by the end of the school year.
 

Update about Provincial Student ID Numbers and BusPlanner Parent Portal – NEW!

In previous years, families needed their child’s student ID number in order to register for BusPlanner and review their busing schedules.
This year, families do not need to register for a BusPlanner Parent Portal account once registration is completed at the school. In July, HRCE Transportation will send an email to eligible families to activate their Parent Portal account to review their child’s busing information for the 2021-22 school year. HRCE Transportation will not be sending out student ID numbers to families.

HRCE will continue to post busing updates on our website at hrce.ca/transportation. HRCE Transportation is available year round to support our families and schools with student transportation. Our call center will be available again this summer and families are encouraged to reach out at transportation@hrce.ca or 902-431-HRCE (4723) if they have any questions.
