Entry as you know will be very different this year. Because of the Back to School Guidelines with mask wearing and Social Distancing we ask that parents of students in grades 4-6 drop their children off no closer than from the side walk area in front of the building (2 metre distance) if students are not walking independently. 

Grades 1-3, parents are asked to walk around to the back playground but please remain a 2 metre distance from the class line up and drop off child as quickly as possible. The Pre-Primary students will be in the outdoor classroom on the wooden logs behind the huge school sign on the corner of Edgewood and Connolly Street.

All primary students will be on the upper HRM field. The same will apply with a 2 metre distance and quick drop off. We are not permitted to have families congregate so please even though I know it is difficult on the first day of school,we ask that you do your best to do a quick drop off.

We are asking that all students grade 4-6 to have their masks on in the line up and encourage families to wear one also as there will be many people around that morning. I have tried to map out the school areas with all teachers and their meeting spots for students. We ask that you review the meeting spot with your child before Tuesday morning. On each map, the location will be labelled in either of the following ways.

We thank you so much for your patience. It will take some time but we hope in a few days students and families will become very familiar with morning meeting spots, which will be the same for pick up spots at the end of the day. At dismissal, all students will be dismissed at 3:00 pm with the exception of primary classes at 2:45 and grade one classes at  2:55. Thank you again for your support.
